St John the Evangelist Catholic School.

St John the Evangelist is a Catholic School for Girls from Years 1 to 8 and boys from years 1 to 6. The values and beliefs of the Catholic Church are central to the school’s special character and are integrated into the curriculum and the culture of the school. The school maintains close links with the Otara parish  and Catholic secondary schools.

The school curriculum promotes student learning effectively and supports students to feel confident in their culture. Teachers know the students and families well and they ensure that the classrooms are settled learning environments where students are encourged by promoting learning through inquiry.
